Founded in 1957, Tape Recorders (Bournemouth) began trading from a small shop in Westbourne and became dealers for many of the big names at that time including Philips, Sony and Grundig before acquiring contracts with Dorset, Somerset, Avon, Wiltshire and Hampshire county councils - supplying equipment to schools, hospitals and the police.
